A simple pasta dish is the perfect complement to a meal. This recipe only has five ingredients, so it’s easy to prepare and oh so delicious! The secret ingredient in this dish is Puro Pura’s Extra Virgin Açaí Oil. Açaí oil is not at all a new concept, but Puro Pura’s is the first one available that you can eat & cook with. It has similar properties to olive oil, with a slightly lower smoke point at 300°F. It’s light taste is perfect with pasta. It will add a hint of pink colour to your pasta without changing the flavour.
Açaí Oil Pasta may be a simple dish, but it packs a lot of flavour. The garlic, parmesan and parsley are the most forward flavours. While your pasta is cooking, you can get the sauce ready. Our tip – if you want the sauce to be a little thicker, add a ladle of your pasta water. Never rinse your pasta. Once it is drained, put it immediately into the sauce.
- Açaí Oil
- 2 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
- Parmesan and
- Cook pasta of preference following instructions on the label .
- When pasta is in water, pour 2 tbsp of Açaí Oil into the pan and heat up on low-med heat. Place chopped garlic into pan until it is cooked (golden brown). Remove pan from heat.
- Drain pasta and place into pan, tossing the pasta until it is evenly coloured. Plate and top with parsley and Parmesan. Enjoy!
