Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
By far, one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed at in the United States, the Fairmont is a huge resort that features four restaurants, a beautiful spa and several swimming pools. The rooms are luxurious and extremely comfortable, making your stay completely perfect. We loved the spa, which offers a menu of treatments, as well as yoga and fitness classes. The pools are large and very clean, and the premises are very nice at night, as the lights come on. Our tip: Opt for the Fairmont Gold option, which will give you access to a private lounge where snacks and breakfast are served all day. We also liked the margaritas at the Fairmont – they put us in vacation mode from the very first sip!

Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch
If you are traveling with children, this is a convenient, comfortable option. The prices are more affordable and is a lot to do on-site – there are even gondolas that take you around the river bordering the hotel. There is a good Italian restaurant with an extensive wine list and the rooms are spacious enough so that everyone can spread out.

The Mission
The Phoenix area is known for its Mexican delicacies and tasty tequila. The Mission is a relatively trendy restaurant that offers a great menu and has a nice terrace at the front. We really liked the guacamole: it is pure delight!
Phoenix Public Market Cafe
This small cafe in the heart of Phoenix, offers fresh juice, decadent pastries, breakfast dishes and excellent coffee. Many of their ingredients come from the farmer’s market nearby. We really liked the relaxed and warm atmosphere here.
Pizzeria Bianco
If you can not resist a good pizza, this is a place not to be missed! Pizzeria Bianco offers several typical Italian dishes and specializes in thin crust pizza. They also make their own mozzarella cheese on-site, which is completely decadent! The decor is pretty and the terrace is cute and inviting.
The Hacienda
One of our favorite restaurants, The Hacienda is located at the Fairmont Princess Scottsdale, and offers a Mexican inspired, decadent menu. Margaritas are perfect, and we recommend finishing the experience with flambé Churros – they are like sweet donuts. We had a great time there!
The Gladly
If you are looking for a trendy place for happy hour or for dinner in town, The Gladly is the perfect place for a more posh evening. The bar is beautiful and the menu is very diverse. It is also known for its seafood and raw bar. There is no doubt, you will have a feast!

If you like to soak up the culture of a city, this museum is the place for you! It features beautiful modern and contemporary works of local and regional art.
The Spa at Pheonician Resort
Are you more of a spa fan? You absolutely must book a treatment at this luxury hotel! The pool is beautiful and the spa is huge – you can spend the whole day there. It was also one of our favorite stops so do not miss it!
