With footballers (soccer players here in North America) diversifying their earnings into investments and businesses, it is no surprise that the fashion industry has seen an influx of footballers in the last 10 years. Some who started out as models for top brands like Adidas, have expanded and into the world of fashion to share their style with their fans and the rest of the world.

Most of these footballers do not actually need to dive into other businesses as they are taking in enough salary with their day job, but it is more about creating and marketing their brands. We have seen retired players, active players, and living legends launch their brands for different types of clothing. Here are some of the top fashion brands launched by footballers for the man in your life.

JLINGZ

The former Manchester United forward who now plays for Nottingham Forest, Jesse Lingard, launched his brand “JLINGZ” in 2018. The brand was inspired by Lingard’s massive passion for football, and his goal celebration where he puts his hands together over his face with his index fingers facing up. The JLINGZ brand has a variety of products for children, men, and women, which consist of sweatshirts, caps, and T-shirts, with the immediately recognizable “JLINGZ” logo on them. The brand has also seen the production of various accessories.

CR7

This fashion brand needs no introduction as it is seen and proven to be one of the biggest fashion launches by a footballer- Cristiano Ronaldo. Cristiano, who previously owned a fashion boutique in 2006, successfully opened his fashion brand in 2013. The brand consists of premium clothing and accessories ranging from underwear, boots, denim jeans, etc. The world class footballer models for the brand alongside his eldest son, Cristiano Jr.

Indeed, there will be many hoping that he is able to continue to enjoy the type of success he has had for so many years this winter, too. He is currently the number 7 favorite to be the best scorer at the World Cup in 2022 with betting odds of +1400, but those that have watched the GOAT and are considering backing him in Qatar will know he should never be ruled out.

Memphis Depay Clothing

Launched by Barcelona forward Memphis Depay, the footballer adds to his businesses and music career as a way of making income alongside his football wages. He launched his brand in 2020, which reflects his life and style as one of the most stylish footballers. The logo of the brand sends a strong message as it portrays a man with closed eyes and hands covering his ears, which represents the blind and deaf who do not see or hear the opinions of others.

M10 streetwear

The M10 streetwear line was launched by Mesut Ozil in 2020. The former Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Fenerbahce midfielder, who has etched his name in footballing history as one of the best in his position, changed his direction to the fashion industry and launched his fashion brand. His brand consists of a variety of clothing and accessories, ranging from T-shirts to caps, hoodies, etc.

No Fuchs Given

It was created by former Leicester City player and Premier League winner, Christian Fuchs, in 2016. The No Fuchs Given brand embodies his ideologies and his fashion style into wearable clothing. The brand is much more than just a clothing brand as it has other divisions, including an eSports team, and alcohol production. The No Fuchs Given brand consists of T-shirts, sweatshirts, accessories, etc.

Beast Mode On

The Beast Mode brand was launched by Adebayo Akinfenwa, who played in England’s Championship and League One during his successful career. He is widely known for his build and size, and not quite for his contributions on the pitch. Due to his size, he was nicknamed “The Beast”, hence the brand’s name. His clothing brand has seen success and is popular amongst other oversized sportsmen, boxers, etc. His clothing brand consists mainly of sportswear and training wear.
