Fashion Week is the perfect time for style inspiration from the fashionistas heading to the runway shows. The shows are their own runways to show off their personal style. From a style watch perspective, the Spring/Summer 2022 season is especially inspiring as the world eases out of the lockdown. Welcome to our first installment of Style Watch for Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2022 in Copenhagen, New York and London. Here are our favourite street style looks to inspire you and your next fashion purchase!
Copenhagen Fashion Week: August 10th to August 13th, 2021
This Copenhagen Fashion Week dispels all the minimalistic Scandinavian design bias that we have. We see colours, patterns and amazing silhouettes that are perfect for when we click to buy our next garments from our favourites stores!
New York Fashion Week: September 17th to September 21st, 2021
New York fashionistas stay true to the city’s style – sleek, clean lines with their signature touch of sportswear. When we see a pop of colour, it is usually singular and focused in a print or an accessory. What excites us is when we spot a style anomaly like a mélange of texture and colour that stands out amidst the fashionistas at the shows!
London Fashion Week: September 17th to September 21st, 2021
London Fashion is always exciting and filled with boundless creativity. The fashionistas showed up in a mélange of personal pizzazz! We love how the English fashionistas always wear an unexpected mix of classical pieces together in a snazzy way that only they can do. Needless to say, it is always a chic throwback to the ’80s & ’90s and they do that so well!

Style Watch: The “New” Handbag You Need Now
From the shows that we have seen so far, the must-have item is the clutch woven leather handbag. The original bag is from Bottega Veneta. We found the perfect alternative at Zara, of course. This Zara woven leather bucket bag is more practical. You can clutch it or wear it over the shoulder. Best of all, it comes in green, orange or brown!
