Breathtaking scenery, countless mountains, and snow. A lot of snow. Whistler is the paradise for skiers and definitely one of the most valued tourist attraction in Canada. If you plan on visiting soon, note down our favorite addresses in the area!

Where to eat

Oso

If you’re a fan of tapas and good cocktails, you need to drop by Oso, the trendy bar of the village. They serve excellent cocktails as well as snacks to share. An ideal address for cocktails and appetizers!

Araxi

Known for their “farm to table dinning” philosophy, Araxi serves a high-end cuisine and it’s absolutely delicious. Our suggestion: go early in the evening to enjoy their specials on the oysters.

Bearfoot Bistro

Probably one of the best restaurants in the area, Bearfood Bistro holds an impressive wine cellar, a diverse menu as well as an Ice Room, kept at -32°C, to be visited between two dishes in order to taste to one of the vodkas stored in the ice. Don’t forget to saber open a bottle of champagne with the owner and keep the cap as a souvenir!

What to do

Scandinave Spa

One of the most popular touristic attractions of the region, the Scandinave Spa is located a couple of minutes away from the village and consists of an interesting activity for those who don’t ski! Several baths and saunas are at the disposition of the customers and the scenery is simply gorgeous.

Audain Art Museum

You can find the Audain Art Museum a few steps away from the Olympic village, a sensational place that offers pieces from the First Nations and also some art from British Colombia.

Ziplining with Ziptrek

Want to push the experience further? Why not try the ziplining, an activity that provides you with thrill and excitement that can also allow you to admire the view from the top of the mountains.

Where to sleep

Four Seasons Hotel

The luxe in the middle of the village. The Four Seasons Hotel consists of a superb choice for skiers who would like to access the mountain directly. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the spa definitely leaves no room for competition! Please note that the stay might become costlier during high season.

Nita Lake Lodge

It’s one of the best-looking location of the region and apparently a popular area for weddings, as well in summer than in winter. Nita Lake Lodge is a charming hotel with a rustic look and represents an excellent choice to stay with a magnificent view on the water as a bonus. We also like their restaurant, Cure, that offers an exceptional menu for lunch or dinner. Special crush for the lobster sandwich, the kale salad or the chocolate and salted caramel dessert. You can also pass by for a drink after a day of ski. In fact, the cocktails are absolutely delicious!
