It is also what we will see at Victoria’s Secret, with the brand new styles from their Body by Victoria collection. Angel Jasmine Tookes was in Vancouver last week for the launch and we had a chance to ask her some questions! Read on.
What are your favorite lingerie trends this season at Victoria’s Secret?
JT: My favorite lingerie trends are wearing bodysuits with a high-waisted jean. I love wearing inner-wear like lingerie as outerwear.
What is your everyday bra?
JT: I have a couple, I alternate between the T-shirt bra and the Body by Victoria bra.
How do you choose the right bra for you?
JT: It all starts with finding the right fit! I had to get properly fitted in order to find out which style of bras I preferred. From there, I discovered that it depends on what I’m wearing. If I’m just wearing a basic t-shirt then I’ll have the T-shirt bra underneath or if I want to show my bra off a little bit then I’ll have one that has more lace or sparkles like the ones from the NEW Body by Victoria collection.
What do you do to stay in shape?
JT: I work out three to five times a week and it has just become a huge part of my lifestyle and it’s fun for me. Me and a lot of the girls workout together and take classes to stay in shape.
Is there a new workout that is popular amongst the VS Angels? How do you stay disciplined and stick with your routine?
JT: All of the girls have gotten into weight training. Before, they were a little bit skeptical about it because they were scared about bulking up. I’ve kind of trained them into thinking that it is actually really good for you and makes you feel strong.
How do you deal with social media? Are you able to disconnect from your social media life?
JT: Yes. I love to take breaks from Instagram or Snapchat sometimes. When I’m on vacation I think it’s really important to disconnect and to just live in the moment.
