We live in a modern, fast-paced society that demands our attention. At the same time, many remote workers are struggling to maintain their productivity and balance their personal and professional lives, which is a difficult thing to do when you’re working remotely, and everything is done in the same space.

Not to mention that many people are also facing other distractions, whether they come from roommates, partners, family members, or simply your smartphone. In this article, we will look at the main applications and organizational tips which will help you reach a better balance between work and play and give you ample time to finish all your tasks but also take a break and have fun while you are still working from home.

Mobile Games

A lot of people overlook mobile games, but they can really be a fun way to spend your break. So, if you are working remotely and have time to spare, you can download games that you find fun or challenging that will boost your mood and take your mind off work.

After all, the main reason for having a lunch break is taking the time to think of anything else but your tasks. There are a huge number of free mobile games and even premium paid versions from different categories, genres, and subgenres.

For example, you can play racing games, first-shooter games, or have fun with hyper-casual games and puzzles. In case you’re interested in casino games, then you’ll be happy to know that the online casino sites are fully mobile optimized and accessible on both Apple and Android devices. So, all you need to do is find a no deposit bonus casino site that suits your preferences, and you can play any casino games, including slots, blackjack, and roulette, from your smartphone.

Dedicated Home Office

A dedicated home office can be a game changer for your productivity because, as we said, it’s not very beneficial if you need to sleep and work in the same space. So, even if you have a small corner dedicated to your work, it will allow your brain to make a better distinction between you’re professional and personal life.

If you want to make your space more personal, you can add some of your favourite books and prepare for your workday by bringing the necessary documents, a good notebook, and maybe some snacks. You’ll feel less inclined to drop everything and go to the kitchen or spend some idle time on your smartphone when you have a dedicated area for your work where you have minimized all your distractions.

Stretch and Exercise

It’s really important to take the time to stretch and exercise, even if it’s just for 10 or 15 minutes. It can make a huge impact on your posture and mood, and it will boost your energy. There are loads of videos and tutorials that can help you do yoga poses properly. You can enrol in another Zumba class or maybe take time to do some quick exercises outside.

You don’t have to exercise at all if that’s not your thing, but you can just stand up, put on your favourite tunes and have a solo dance party. One of the main advantages of working from home is that you can look silly without anyone noticing.

Work Groups

Some people are more productive when they’re working with other people. For this reason, many employees go to the office, but if that’s not an option for you, there are a lot of YouTube study channels that can also be used for working because you’ll feel part of their group, get to chat or share your goals in the comments. And, lastly, if you want to make some changes to your routine, you can also go to a co-working space.
