Fall is officially here, and with it comes comfort food, cozy baking and, of course, pumpkin spice everything. But for this edition of Fun Finds for Fall, we wanted to look beyond the usual seasonal suspects. We found nostalgic treats with a new twist, an internet food trend that may actually be worth trying, a very Canadian dessert mashup and even a kitchen splurge that is almost too pretty to use. From Snoopy and sardines to cookies, cake and one seriously gorgeous stand mixer, these are the foodie finds that caught our attention.

When I was looking for fun finds for fall…this is something that really stood out. Nostalgia – check. Adorable take on a 60-year-old classic, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown – check. Snoopy…check, check, check.

The 10-piece lineup includes collectible drinkware, accessories and an adorable plush, all featuring beloved Peanuts characters with a distinctly Starbucks seasonal twist. Whether you’re shopping for a fellow Peanuts fan, looking for a fun fall gift or simply want to add something playful to your own collection, there’s plenty to love. Highlights of the collection include:

  • The Snoopy Glass Cold Cup – $57.95
  • The Stainless Steel Cold Cup – $47.95
  • The 14-ounce Ceramic Mug (with a surprise Snoopy) – $43.95
  • Snoopy Plush ($50.95)
  • Bag Charm ($24.95)

And speaking of Starbucks, don’t forget their iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte is back for a limited time along with some new additions to their menu like the Banana Bread Latte and the Iced Chaider – chai combined with strawberry acai flavours.

WINNERS x Craig’s Cookies – Available at Participating Craig’s Cookies Locations Until September 30th

Fun Finds for Fall: Craig's Cookies including the Churro Trio with a Winners X Craig's Cookies Graphic

Here’s one cookie you’ll actually want to accept. WINNERS  teamed up with Craig’s Cookies for AcceptCookies.IRL, a playful take on that familiar online prompt we mindlessly click every day.

The collaboration features a limited-edition WINNERS Cookie that starts with Craig’s classic chocolate chip cookie, but comes with a colourful surprise hidden inside. It’s a sweet nod to the thrill of finding something unexpected, which, if you’ve ever wandered into WINNERS for one thing and left with five, feels pretty appropriate.

The custom WINNERS x Craig’s Cookies creation is available at Craig’s Cookies locations across Canada through September 30, with giveaways and opportunities to win prizes along the way. It’s clever and a true fun find for fall.

BeaverTails x McCain Slice of Canada at Participating BeaverTails Locations Until November 1st

How Canadian can one dessert get? BeaverTails and McCain have teamed up for the first time to create Slice of Canada, a limited-edition mashup of two treats that will bring back plenty of memories.

It starts with a BeaverTails pastry topped with vanilla spread and chocolate drizzle. Then comes the part that caught our attention: an actual slice of McCain Deep’n Delicious chocolate cake on top. It’s literally dessert on dessert and we’re here for it.

There’s definitely a nostalgia factor to this one. Whether Deep’n Delicious was a regular fixture in your freezer growing up or a BeaverTail was part of your summer festival or winter skating tradition, the collaboration brings two familiar favourites together in a very indulgent way.

Nice Cans Sardines – $12.99 Online

Fun Food for Fall: Nice Cans Sardines Smoked in Olive Oil With Sea Salt in blue and pink striped outer packaging

Now this is an interesting fun find for fall.

The internet’s latest wellness obsession has officially entered the pantry. Sardinemaxxing is having a moment, with people reaching for the tiny fish for their impressive nutritional profile. At the same time, the broader “eat your skincare” conversation is putting more attention on what we put in our bodies alongside what we put on our skin.

And suddenly, the humble sardine is having a pretty glamorous moment.

It’s not entirely hype. Sardines are naturally packed with protein and omega-3 fatty acids, along with nutrients including vitamin D, vitamin B12, selenium and calcium. They’ve also had quite the image makeover, going from old-school pantry staple to the star of beautifully styled tins, “sea-cuterie” boards and countless social media posts.

If you’re sardine-curious, Canadian chef Charlotte Langley was ahead of the trend. Her tinned seafood brand, Nice Cans, offers a decidedly modern take on canned fish and an easy way to give one of fall’s more unexpected food trends a try.

Do you need to “sardinemaxx”? Definitely not. But adding a tin to a snack plate, piling sardines onto toast or serving them with crackers and your favourite accompaniments? That’s a trend we can get behind.

KitchenAid 2026 Design Series Stand Mixer, Luminaire – $899.99

Fun Finds for Fall: KitchenAid Luminaire blue stand mixer on counter

Some kitchen appliances get tucked away in a cupboard. This is definitely not one of them.

KitchenAid has unveiled Luminaire, its 2026 Design Series Stand Mixer, and it may be one of the prettiest additions to your fall kitchen. Following 2024’s much-talked-about Evergreen mixer, Luminaire takes a more luminous approach…literally.

The new mixer features a fluted, hardened glass bowl with an integrated light that shines through the glass, casting a subtle pattern across your countertop as you mix. Add the rich Blue Peppercorn colour, textured crinkle finish and polished accents, and you have an appliance that’s as much a design piece as it is a kitchen workhorse.

Of course, it still has to earn its counter space. Luminaire comes with dishwasher-safe stainless steel accessories, including a Double Flex Edge Beater, Dough Hook, Wire Whip and Flat Beater, ready for everything from Thanksgiving prep to cozy Sunday baking.

Does it put the “fun” in functional? Technically, yes — although at $899.99, we’re firmly in luxury territory. Do we want one sitting on our counter this fall? Absolutely.
