Under a canopy of cherry blossoms, this immersive cultural marketplace in Queen West transports you straight to Japan.

For one final weekend, Next Stop Japan brings together sushi, mochi, ceramics, anime, and traditional dress within a vibrant showcase shaped by food, craft, and live demonstrations.

Just the specialty sweets, Japanese snack brands rarely found outside the country, and the food offerings alone are reason to go!  But beyond that visitors will also enjoy tea rituals, see Wagashi desserts shaped by hand, experience knife demonstrations, and enjoy cultural entertainment that’s not to be missed.

With new vendors joining for the final weekend and a rotating lineup of demonstrations, the experience continues to evolve — so even those who saw it last weekend will have something new to take in.

Presented by the Japanese External Trade Organization (JETRO) and The Japan Foundation, Next Stop Japan offers a rare chance to experience Japanese culture through flavour, craftsmanship, and tradition — all on Queen Street West, for one final weekend.

Where: Welcome Market, 938 Queen St. W., Toronto
When: Friday, March 20: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday, March 21: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Sunday, March 22: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
