Welcome back to “Fresh Month Fresh Tunes,” with the songs that you need to add to your November playlist. When the weather starts getting gloomy, I like to have more danceable music to listen to. The November playlist includes a mix of well-known and up and coming artists with a hint of throw back to keep things interesting.

So, get ready to hear more about our picks for your November playlist:

Marshmello, P!NK, Sting – Dreaming

This is an odd group for a collab, but it should be on your November playlist because it works! Dreaming with Marshmello, P!NK and Sting reworks the former lead singer of The Police’s 1993 hit Fields of Gold. The song entered Billboard‘s Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart at #1. You will replay the unexpected collab over again and again – it’s that catchy.

The Chainsmokers – Summertime Friends

This dance tune from The Chainsmokers has a wistful feel (and makes me wistful for warmer weather). Brand member, Drew Taggert wrote a long Instagram post about the inspiration for the song: “I had run into her [his girlfriend Mari] at this party in LA (classic). We had known each other in passing for a couple years but never had a substantial conversation. She said hi to me at the bar where I was stuck making small talk with a couple I didn’t really know… It was laughable how much we had in common. I remember thinking ‘how has it taking this long for us to talk?’ I think I knew then that we were supposed to be together. Luckily I had the courage to ask for her number at the end of the night and luckily she was feeling open minded.”

The rest is history with a song to prove it.

Martin Garrix & Lloyiso – Real Love

Martin Garrix & Lloyiso’s EDM track, Real Love has an ethereal, yet danceable beat. It reminds me of 1990’s dance music with a modern, updated sound. If you grew up on 1990’s music, you will love this track.

Depeche Mode – My Favourite Stranger

My Favourite Stranger is a broody release by alterative band, Depeche Mode. Together for almost 50 years, their Memento Mori album which includes My Favourite Stranger, is one of their best. Dave Gahan and Martin Gore are a dream team who have managed to have hits in every decade that they have been together. Any of their songs are a must for your November playlist. I saw them for the eighth time in concert and they are definitely a favourite.

Britney Spears – I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman (Snakehips Remix Audio)

I had to include Britney Spears on our list, especially after her best selling biography just came out. It’s on our must read list but this remix of I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman is something that you should add to your playlist. The song appears on the Crossroads Special Edition soundtrack which is out now. It’s a dance remix of the ballad which was released in 2001 and appeared in the 2002 movie. Here is hoping that Britney releases a new album in the future, but until then, this remix will hold us all over.
