Looking for ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day this week? It doesn’t have to be complicated. Take a look at our Valentine’s Day date ideas.

Relax at the Spa

There’s nothing better than a couple’s massage or a day to relax at the spa with your significant other. Take the opportunity to explore the spas outside your city if you feel like escaping for a few hours. Or, why not try the Miraj Hammam Spa or Elmwood Spa, both situated in downtown Toronto?

#TipTuesday create a face mask that cleanses and hydrates at home! Raw honey is an amazing ingredient for your skin. Just apply raw, unfiltered honey to your face in a circular motion for gorgeous results. ?

Try a New Restaurant

On Valentine’s Day, all the good restaurants are likely to be packed. However, nothing should stop you from celebrating a few days before or after February 14th. There are so many good places to try in Toronto! Check out these suggestions on View The Vibe.

Spend the Night at a Hotel

And finally, why not pretend you’re on a trip by spending the night at a hotel in your own city? Leave the kids with the grandparents for one night and book yourselves a hotel room! You can, obviously, combine all these activities at the same time (spa, restaurant and hotel), but just sleeping somewhere other than your own bed can help you relax and feel more romantic! Our suggestions: the Bisha Hotel, for its spectacular décor, and the Holiday Inn Express Downtown, for its affordable prices and great location.
