There’s been an ongoing debate about whether your twenties are the best time of your life or whether you truly start to live it up in your thirties. But there’s one thing everyone agrees on – you should make the best of every moment, no matter your age. That being said, there are some things you’ll want to experience in your twenties, especially if you are living in Canada. Whether you have some free time for fun and exploration during the festive Christmas season or you become more adventurous during the summer months, here are the top ten things to do in Ontario before you turn 30.

10 things to do in Ontario before you turn 30 that are a must

1.     Toronto’s music festivals

Toronto, Ontario has some crazy music festivals that are visited by people from different parts of the world. Not only would it be a shame not to at least show up at one when it’s practically in your backyard, but it would also be prudent to do so in your twenties. Sure enough, life only begins when we turn 30, especially if we are taking good care of our health. But because of many responsibilities that are bound to pile up (and the lack of stamina after a long day at work), celebrating life at one of Toronto’s music festivals in your twenties is the best decision.

2.     Visit Niagara Falls

If you are an Ontario native, then you probably know that people from all over the world make Niagara Falls their obligatory stop while in Canada. Their beauty is out of this world. With a tour starting from Toronto that costs approximately $74.00 per adult, you can spend your day marveling at how amazing nature is.

3.     Try your luck with online casino games

Gambling might not be something everyone enjoys. But for those who do, Ontario is the perfect place to be. Gambling is a fully regulated activity in Ontario, with many online casinos offering a plethora of different games. Our recommendation is for you to look for an Ontario safe online casino that will keep your identity and funds secure. Likewise, this activity is best done during your twenties, as you might not have enough funds left over for gambling once you have a family.

4.     Have a date with your Tinder match

People either love Tinder and other dating apps in general, or they hate them. We’re not here to elaborate on whether they can help you find your one true love or set you up with a match made in hell, as they can 100% give you one thing – a memorable experience. Whether you’ll find yourself telling your grandkids about the way you met the love of your life or sharing anecdotes of your disastrous first date with your friends, you’ll certainly gain a valuable experience. Don’t stress about looking red carpet ready – even if you show up in your most flattering loungewear, the right person will like you for you.

5.     Let your voice be heard at XO Karaoke

We’ve taken XO Karaoke as a general example, and you’ll be able to find many great karaoke bars across Ontario. The place itself isn’t as important as the activity, as having a fun karaoke night is one of the things to do in Ontario before you turn 30. After 30, you might be less inclined to let your emotions wild while singing ‘I Will Always Love You’ by Whitney Huston.

6.     Attend a trapeze class at the Toronto School of Circus Arts

Rare are those who get more flexible and courageous with time. After all, would you dare to learn a circus act in your thirties or forties? If you are adventurous, then this is going to be the perfect activity in Toronto for you. Besides, it’s a great way to spend your Friday night and get a good workout out of it.

7.     Take a day for yourself

Your twenties are the perfect time to explore what you like and don’t like. They are also the perfect moment to find out who you really are and what you want out of life. That’s why one of the absolute must things to do in Ontario before you turn 30 is taking some time to figure yourself out. Luckily, Ontario provides you with many great places where you can grab a bite, enjoy looking at nature, and simply let the worries of the day wash away.

8.     Bike on some amazing trails

You can absolutely have a great physique in your thirties – but you should start working on it in your twenties. Likewise, you should work on preserving your mental health and embracing the new decade with a healthy mindset. So why not combine the two through biking on Ontario’s amazing trails? You’ll work up a sweat while getting some fresh air. You win either way.

9.     Spend a few days in an Airbnb

Not a lot of people would consider renting an Airbnb simply to hang out with their friends for a few days. But we say go for it! One’s twenties are the perfect time for short getaways with friends, as they’ll help you relax, strengthen the bonds between the members of the group, and make some precious memories. Sign us up!

10. Live it up in a Japanese pub

Have you always wanted to visit Japan but found it to be a little bit out of your budget? Then you can go for the next best thing by visiting a Japanese pub, such as Kinka Izakaya. This is your opportunity to soak up the impressive Japanese culture while indulging in their traditional delicacies and drinks. And do you want to know what the best part is? You are going to be surrounded by a bunch of other twenty-something-year-olds who are just enjoying life. That’s why this is one of those must things to do in Ontario before you turn 30.
