It’s a fact: finding healthy and nutritious snacks for kids that they will love can quickly become a headache for parents. Because toddlers like something sweet, it’s essential to have options that are both healthy and delicious. Here are three favorite products that perfectly meet these criteria.

Mighty Milk by Nurished: a chocolate vitamin milk

Kids love chocolate milk, so why not treat them to an enriched and tasty version? Nurished Mighty Milk is a nutritious powder that you add to milk or a plant-based beverage to make it a delicious and nutritious drink. In addition to being tasty (chocolate is the big winner at home), this drink is packed with essential vitamins (A, C, D, E, B-complex), minerals, and even probiotics to support digestion. Perfect for breakfast or as an afternoon snack, Mighty Milk supports energy and focus, while helping little ones meet their daily nutritional needs. At home, my children ask for this chocolate milk every morning. We can’t live without it!

Prana’s Overnight Chia Breakfast: a natural energy boost

Even though they’re breakfasts at their core, Prana’s overnight oats also make great nutritious snacks. Rich in vegetable protein, fibre and healthy fats, they are perfect for a healthy snack that makes you feel energetic! Available in several gourmet flavours (cocoa, strawberry shortcake, etc.), they are simple to prepare: just add milk of your choice and let it rest overnight! This type of snack helps stabilize blood sugar levels and prevents the famous energy slump. A great option for everyone in the family.

MadeGood snacks: guaranteed pleasure, without compromise

One of the options that is unanimously popular at home is the MadeGood brand. Cereal bars, granola bites, crunchy cookies…Each product in the line is not only delicious, but also certified organic, nut-free (great for snacks to slip into the school bag), and enriched with a blend of hidden vegetables (spinach, broccoli, carrots, etc.).

My children love these products because of they are sweet tasting, and personally, I am very comfortable offering them a balanced option made from natural ingredients. The brand is launching new products this spring: organic baked oatmeal cups available in three flavors (banana and chocolate chips, berries and vanilla, apple crisp) and new granola bite flavors (mocha, vanilla latte) and all products will be available on shelves by the end of March.
