Welcome to “Fresh Month Fresh Tunes,” our brand new monthly column where we share the music that needs to be on your playlist. There is something for every kind of music lover. Whether you’re a die-hard music aficionado or someone who just loves a catchy tune, “Fresh Month Fresh Tunes” will get you ready for everything from a road trip to your daily run or just a lazy Sunday afternoon. You’ll hear about the freshest tracks that are making waves in the music world from indie gems to chart-toppers.

So, get ready to press play, turn up the volume, and hear more about our picks for October:

 *NSYNC  – “Better Place”

“Better Place” is *NSYNC’s first release together in 2 decades. The song will appear on the October 20th release of DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls Band Together (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). The multi-platinum, multi-award winning group will entertain you with this catchy hit. Band member and international superstar, Justin Timberlake recorded “CAN’T STOP THE FEELING!,” for the first Trolls movie, which was the best selling song of 2016. “Better Place” is going to be another big hit for the franchise

Enrique Iglesias – “Así Es La Vida”

“Así Es La Vida” is a fresh tune from Enrique Iglesias. The tropical track is also his first collaboration with Argentinean star Maria Becerra. You don’t need to understand Spanish to get swept away by this sensual bachata.

“Bachata is a rhythm that captured my heart from the moment I heard it,” said the singer-songwriter. “I am delighted to return to this powerful genre, accompanied by the great talent of Maria, who is one of a kind.”

The song is the first release from FINAL VOL. 2. Iglesias has a busy October. He is a finalist  in the Latin Pop Artist of the Year category at the 2023 Latin Billboard Awards airing October 5th. He embarks on The Trilogy Tour across North America with Ricky Martin and Pitbull beginning October 14th.

Miranda Lambert – “Driving Back There in My Mind”

Miranda Lambert’s ballad, “Driving Back There in My Mind” dropped on September 6th as part of Apple Music’s Lost & Found program. Lambert’s plaintive vocals and ability to story-tell, make this an instant country and western classic.

Maren Morris – “The Tree”

“The Tree” is part of a two-track EP titled The Bridge from Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Maren Morris. The talent is leaving country music behind and “The Tree” is about her transition into the world of what is next. With her voice and the power of her lyrics, Maren Morris will excel in whatever genre is next for her.

Doja Cat – Demons

Doja Cat’s “Demons” released on September 1st, and is the perfect song to get you ready for Halloween. The intense lyrics, spooky video inspired by movies like Poltergeist and The Shining and Doja Cat’s vocals make this the ideal addition to your own fresh tunes playlist for October.
