Relieve some of your favourite childhood memories thanks to McDonald’s. For a limited time, beginning on August 13th, McDonald’s is introducing the new McDonald’s Collector’s Edition Glasses with four designs. The Collector’s Edition glasses will be available for a $3 (plus tax) add-on to any Extra Value Meal at McDonald’s Canada.
McDonald’s collectables are iconic with everything from toys, posters, plates and trading cards. The McDonald’s Collector’s Edition Glasses highlight some of their classic collectables with Peanuts, Ty Beanie Babies and:
- Barbie – Pet Lovin’ Barbie from 1999
- Hot Wheels – the Hot Wheels Dragster of 1993
- Hello Kitty – a throw-back to the Hello Kitty keychain
- Grimace – a throw back to the mug featuring this beloved McDonaldland character from 1976

As a celebration of this passion, we are reintroducing some of our most cherished keepsakes with a unique twist”, said Alyssa Buetikofer, Chief Marketing Officer of McDonald’s Canada.
She continues: “These new glasses celebrate some of our most memorable designs and worldwide partnerships over the years. They allow our long time McDonald’s collectors to relive beloved moments, while also giving the new generation a chance to create their own memories.”
The new McDonald’s Collector’s Edition Glasses available on the McDonald’s app, in-restaurant, and at the Drive-Thru at participating restaurants. McHappy Meals and Extra Value Meals are excluded.
