What is going on in the beauty industry this season? Several innovations, new ingredients and new products are there to discover! Those who love skincare as much as I do will be delighted to by the latest beauty launches.
Micellar Products from Pantene Pro V Blends, $5.99
Micellar water for hair? Yes, Pantene is not the first brand to use this ingredient, but we love these new gentle products that leave hair clean and feeling stronger. It helps clean hair without stripping it of it’s essential moisture.
What we love: The scent of this new range of shampoos and conditioners.
The Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer 23.75 Karat Gold, $599.99
The Dyson hairdryer launched two years ago and this super-lightweight, ultra-efficient device quickly became an essential tool in hair salons. The brand launched a dryer with real gold leaf. Over time, some of the red base colour may become visible beneath the gold. This is intentional and designed to reflect the colours seen in gilt artifacts. It features the same power and technology as the original. We love this bougie product!
What we love: The efficient and powerful technology of the device.
Whip Body Cleansers from Olay, $5.99
These new products by Olay are really enjoyable to use in the shower. The cleanser, which instantly lathers into a creamy foam, leaves your skin feeling soft, giving you a dose of happiness every time you go in the shower. The fragrances are utterly divine too!
What we love: Absolutely everything about these products.
St Ives Sheet Masks, $2.97
We love these affordable sheet masks. St. Ives has recently launched brightening and revitalizing masks. Both are effective, containing natural ingredients such as apricot, blueberries or chia oil.
What we love: The affordable price for such an effective product!
Teaology’s White Tea Miracle Drops Serum
New to Canada, Teaology comes straight from Italy with products designed infused with tea, providing a maximum dose of polyphenols to the skin. The Miracle Serum gives vitality, radiance and suppleness to the skin.
What we love: The instant effect.
Osea Anti-Aging Body Balm, $60
I discovered the brand recently during an interview with the founder’s son who came straight from Malibu. The line, which features the benefits of marine algae, offers several products, made from natural ingredients, that celebrities are obsessed with. I’m still testing the whole range, but I really like the body balm. It melts on my skin like an oil and leaves it feeling smooth.
What we love: The different product range and ingredients used in this high-end natural brand.
Veriphy Skincare Eye Cream, $82
Another new launch and this time, the product is made here, in Canada! Veriphy is a range of skin care manufactured primarily by women, offering high-performance products produced with effective ingredients. The eye cream is my favorite. Packed with peptides and cucumber extracts, it gently reduces dark circles and puffiness under the eyes.
What we love: The packaging and the fact that the company is created by women for women.
100% Squalane Oil from Biossance, $68
If there is a new ingredient to discover this season, it is Squalane. It is derived from sugarcane and is excellent for hydrating your face, hands and even hair. Biossance has a range of products with this ingredient.
What we love: The light texture makes it easy to apply.
Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Lotion, $34
The new range focuses on tightening pores and purifying the skin, perfect for oily or acne-prone complexions. I love micellar waters and this refreshing cleansing lotion left my skin clean and soft in a few seconds.
What we love: The instant freshening sensation.
Dimorelli Vitamin C Serum, $99
Created in Vancouver, the Dimorelli Skin Care range offers anti-aging skincare that is already well-known in Western Canada. With colder weather approaching, we want to get our hands on the Vitamin C Serum, which helps to lighten the complexion and gives a youthful appearance to the skin. You can use it around the eyes as well as the face.
What we love: The versatility of the product.
