It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in honour of the annual campaign, we rounded up fashion, beauty and even some household products for you to pick up to support the cause. This year, we are giving you details around the various organizations that are supported by this year’s campaign. Take a look at how you can support Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2020 and remember, that pink isn’t just a colour, it’s an attitude.
The Cause: Rethink Breast Cancer
Rethink is the young women’s breast cancer movement. Rethink educates, empowers and advocates for people worldwide who are affected by breast cancer to help them live better longer. They connect young women going through breast cancer to resources and support during their journey.

To raise an awareness of breast cancer, hali in collaboration with Rethink created 3 limited edition sets and 10% of sale proceeds will go directly to Rethink. hali’s Personal Care Set contains six different personal care items including lip balm, makeup brushes and a face mask.
Smythe Duchess Blazer in Rethink Pink – $695.00
Throughout the month of October, Smythe will donate $50 to Rethink Breast Cancer from every Duchess Blazer in Rethink Pink sold. The Duchess blazer is Smythe’s classic wool one button, single-breasted blazer with a cut-out back vent.
For the month of October, Unika will be donating 10% of sales from all swim and masks to Rethink, and inviting customers to donate additional proceeds at checkout both online and in-store, with a minimum donation of $1,200.
In partnership with Rethink Breast Cancer, BIKO has designed an exclusive capsule collection in a limited-edition Rose Gold. 20% of each piece sold from this collection and J’Adore Pearl Drops ($95), will be donated to Rethink Breast Cancer, with a minimum commitment of $2,500.
Scentsy Hope, Strength & Love Warmer – $66.00
In support of Rethink Breast Cancer, Scentsy has created a new and unique warmer, Hope, Strength & Love. From August 1, 2020, to January 31, 2021 (or while supplies last), Scentsy will donate $13 from the sale of each Hope, Strength & Love Warmer to Rethink Breast Cancer with a minimum donation of $10,000.
The Cause: Canadian Cancer Society
Canadian Cancer Society’s breast cancer efforts are renowned and they support the cause in numerous ways. They fund research, provide education to help reduce the risk of cancer, provide support services and information and advocate to governments on cancer related issues.

25 cents from each purchase of specially-marked Cashmere Ultra 3 ply toilet paper is contributed to breast cancer efforts at the Canadian Cancer Society (up to a maximum of $35,000). Cashmere is a long term supporter of breast cancer having supported the Canadian Cancer Society’s breast cancer initiatives for more than 15 years.
Tetley Orange Pekoe “Pink” Pack – $5.99
Available from September – October, a special Tetley Orange Pekoe “Pink” Pack is available from most major retailers, with a portion of the proceeds going toward the Canadian Cancer Society. Tetley has supported the Canadian Cancer society since 2001 and this is the sixth year that Tetley has launched specialty packaging. Tetley contributes $50,000 per year to fund innovative breast cancer research, educate women about early detection and provide support services to those living with the disease.
