As a Chinese-Canadian born and raised in Kolkata, India, Chef Chang has quite the taste for spices and extravagantly rich flavours. Having "started from the bottom" alike other Canadian faces, he started his career in the not so glamorous part of the Kitchen (dishwashing). Later on holding a variety of Chef positions for multiple national restaurant chains, and currently the Chef of Bar Verde inside Toronto's busiest Nordstrom's at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre. With a unique ability to piece together a quick, yet mouthwatering menu without breaking the bank, or tying-up countless hours of the day. Adopting a life long learning approach he has toured, ate and cooked across India, China, Thailand, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and North America.
