If you are like me, traveling to Europe also means accessing a whole new shopping universe. I’ve always been more excited about the shopping than anything else when visiting Europe and to get you excited too, I’m sharing my favourite fashion retailers, since we don’t have them here, in Canada.
1. Intimissimi
One of my favorite brands is Intimissimi, which is an Italian lingerie brand that offers very feminine, fashionable, high quality items. The prices are not too expensive – even with the exchange – and I just love getting their lingerie every time I visit. They also use a lot of major influencers for their advertising campaigns, which makes it even cooler to see what is popular!
2. Bershka
Yes, we have Zara, I would love to see Bershka come to North America! Zara’s little sister is just as fashionable, but a bit less pricey, perfect for those trendy items that we know we won’t be wearing for years. The style feels a bit younger, but still fun to wear.
3. Pull & Bear
The Spanish retailer is also part of the same group that owns Zara, but offers basic items like denim, t-shirts and hoodies with a fashionable twist. The men’s section is also worth checking out and is not too expensive, which makes it a great stop if you are traveling with your other half!
4. Primark
Probably one of the most affordable stores you can find, Primark offers a variety of basic items at ridiculously low prices. You will find dresses, jackets and even accessories for only a few euros. Do not skip this store!
5. Calzedonia
Part of the Intimissimi group, Calzedonia is THE place to find a swimsuit while shopping in Europe. You will see a lot of their stores on small islands or next to the beach. Even their campaigns are always very trendy. The prices are affordable, which always makes me want to buy a new bathing suit every time I go!
6. Promod
A great French line that offers cute and comfortable fashions for women. The prices are also very reasonable and the sales are great. This store reminds me a lot of Reitman’s in Canada.
Are there any stores you would add to my list? Tell me in a comment below. I’d love to discover new places next time I go!
