We hope you’re as excited for the springtime as we are! Between better weather and new trends, we’re not sure which one we’re more enthusiastic about. Seen on the runway and in the streets already, here are the 2018 spring/summer trends you should definitely try out.

Pastels

Although it may feel like pastels have been with us these past years, the runways were adorned with the most beautiful and delicate colors. As seen on Céline and See by Chloé Spring 2018 ready-to-wear runways, you can be delicate and powerful.

Plaids and checks

Plaids and checks have gone through quite a bit, from preppy looks à la Blair Waldorf to the grunge revival of the recent years. Yet, it seems like we’re slowly going back to classic and vintage plaid prints now. Whether to add dimension or edge, a checkered jacket always does the trick.

Transparency and mesh

Designers really know how to turn ‘plastic’ into works of art. To be worn over (or under) bolder pieces, as a standalone, or even on your feet, transparent pieces definitely add a je ne sais quoi to the outfit.

Silk-ish

Printed silk pieces are all the rage right now, whether layered or worn around the neck. Undeniably one of the most feminine materials, they can be adapted for all seasons and occasions. French fashion powerhouse Rochas knows exactly what we’re talking about.

Straps and socks

From being a ‘fashion faux pas’ to a royal-esque trend, wearing socks with sandals has never looked better, especially when the sandal is in fact a pair of minimal (or not) heels. Preppy or eccentric, footwear is where you should be having fun playing around, anyways.
