If you follow me on Instagram, you know I love weekend getaways! I love to leave the city and get some fresh air. My latest destination? A long weekend in Prince Edward County, where I had the chance to test the new Lincoln MKC, a comfortable, spacious luxury vehicle. The program included visits to vineyards, beach time and dining at great restaurants.  What more could I ask for? Here are my three favorites addresses in the region!

The Angéline’s Inn
If you are looking for a nice place to stay in the area, stop at The Angeline’s Hotel where you can stay in a comfortable room or rent out the entire place if you are traveling with the family! It is said that the restaurant here is also very good, although I did not have the chance to test it out.  The English style of the building will definitely charm you!

The Drake Devonshire Bar
You may have already heard about this trendy spot that is so popular every summer in the County! The Drake Devonshire is located next to the water, offering a splendid view from the lively terrace. The decor is eclectic and colorful, a beautiful and inspiring place to discover. The restaurant and bar specializes in cocktails and refreshing dishes (ceviche, lobster, salads, etc.). I didn’t get a chance to visit the rooms, but I will come back one day to spend the night there to get the full experience of the Drake.  I recommend going there for an aperitif or to spend the evening in the restaurant to enjoy good music and food!

Norman Hardie Vineyard
One of the best Canadian wines in the County is available at Norman Hardie. You can enjoy sublime Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with a view on the vineyards here. The place is known for its industrial look, reminiscent of an Airstream, and also offers a restaurant area, known for its wood oven pizzas onsite. During our visit, the place was packed, and the experience did not disappoint us!

Finally, Lincoln’s MKC allowed us to ride comfortably from Montreal to Picton (the car offers various modes of driving, from comfortable to sport), and I was impressed by the additional level of security offered by the MKC. The latter slows down when a car is too close, to avoid accidents.  I believe that this should be included in all cars!
