Whether you are a makeup fan or not, you can’t deny the importance of having a beautiful complexion – it’s the first thing that people notice, after all!  What products do we recommend to get a peachy, glow-y complexion? Here are our latest finds that are tried, tested and approved!

Natural Mineral Powder by Nude by Nature, $30 at Shoppers Drug Mart

The brand has been available in Canada for only a few months now, and we’re already addicted to some of the products. The mineral powder beautifully finishes our complexion by mattifying and nourishing the skin without drying it. Several shades are available. We’re hooked!

Lancôme Teint Idole Couvrance 24h, $56.58 at Beauty Counters

This product is my absolute favorite! I keep it in my purse – the bottle is ideal for travel– and it keeps it handy for retouches throughout the day. Its formula is soft on the skin and looks natural and beautiful on your face. To try is to love it…

Dermablend Flawless Creator Liquid Pigments, $52 at Shoppers Drug Mart

You’ve certainly heard of Dermablend, but have you ever tested it? The beauty label is renowned for its high-coverage products that make-up artists are obsessed with! I recently adopted these liquid pigments, a concentrated formula that is raging right now, requiring only a few drops for maximum results! Little trick: mix it with your day cream for a completely natural look.

StudioMakeup Illusion Soft Foundation, $30 at Drugstores

Those who like to start with a foundation will fall in love with this one developed by the professional brand, StudioMakeup. It smooths pores and fine lines and stays put all day. Take a look at the other products from their line; this foundation could make you fall in love with the brand!

Maybelline Master Camo, $12.99 at Drug Stores

Any makeup kit needs the a product that will help cover small pimples, redness, dark circles, and many other skin tone concerns!  Each color has its own distinctive benefit, so you just have to choose the pen that meets your needs. We also love its affordable price!

Annabelle Perfect Corrector, $7.95 at Drug Stores

This is a different version of the pen featured above.  We especially like its creamy texture – it literally melts into our skin. Personally, I use the yellow version – which is quite natural on my skin – in order to lighten the area under my eyes. The price? So affordable!

Joe Fresh Powder Cream Foundation, $8.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart

This foundation blends like a cream but sets like a powder. It’s easy to apply and because of it’s pressed format, we can pop it into our purse without making a mess!  It’s an essential for those who like to do touch-ups during the day.

Physicians Formula Velvet Foundation, $12.95 at Drug Stores

This product is a favorite of many and has recently been re-introduced to mark the 80th anniversary of the brand. It has a long lasting formula that conceals imperfects. It’s easy to carry and perfect for travel.

Quo Concealer Palette, $19 at Shoppers Drug Mart

This small palette makes miracles on our dark circles and allows us to camouflage everything to perfection. The creamy texture is quite consistent, and its affordable too.

DIOR AirFlash Spray Foundation, $62 at Beauty Counters

This light feeling, but medium to full coverage mist, leaves a beautiful finish on your skin. Spray on the skin before blending to perfect your complexion. Ideal for those who do not like the sensation of a thick textured foundation.
