The holidays always seem to sneak up, and the best pieces go quickly, so now is the time to shop while the selection is still strong. Holiday 2025 décor trends are richer and more personal this year: deeper palettes, mixed metals, oversized bows, and natural textures that make your home feel inviting rather than overdone. According to icon Martha Stewart, there is also a “Ralph Lauren revival” happening – think cozy, sophisticated with a hint of plaid. Vintage is also back in a big way. Search your attic for childhood favourites and mix them with more refined pieces to create a holiday style that feels uniquely your own.

Whether you’re hosting family, planning a holiday get-together, or simply want to elevate your small space for the season, there are some beautiful finds that can make everything feel a little more festive. Every year, we visit Canadian Tire House for inspiration and every year, we come back wanting them to decorate our homes. While that isn’t realistic, we can share some of our favourite items to help get your space holiday ready, all available at Canadian Tire:

CANVAS Holiday Homecoming Collection Tea Towels, Multi-Colour, 2-pk – $14.99

Tea towels are a great way to add a holiday element to your kitchen without taking up any of that precious counter space. CANVAS Holiday Homecoming Collection Tea Towels give that hint of holiday cheer with a design that isn’t kitschy.

CANVAS Holiday Homecoming Collection Square Cloth Napkins, 16-in, 4-pk – $16.99

Getting holiday ready means thinking about how you want your table to look. These napkins add a sweet touch with the green scalloping. They are crafted from recycled cotton, offering style and sustainability (another trend for 2025).

CANVAS Holiday Homecoming Collection Reusable Stoneware Appetizer Plates, 4-pk – $24.99

CANVAS LED Ceramic House Set adds an easy, understated touch of holiday charm and is ideal for either a large or small space. The crisp white houses and mix of trees create a simple, cozy village scene, and each piece glows softly when lit. It fits anywhere from a mantel to a shelf or down the centre of a dining table, blending effortlessly with any holiday décor style.

CANVAS Christmas Decoration Red & White Plaid Stocking, 22-in – $19.99

If you want to tap into the Ralph Lauren revival, this red and white plaid stocking is an easy way to do it. There’s a matching tree skirt and a “Fa La La La La” cushion, and it’s machine washable.

You don’t need to spend a fortune to make your home holiday ready. Add a new piece or two every year if you like to change things up. Many of the items shown are now on sale, so you can save. Whether you live in a large home or a small apartment, thoughtful details can make a big impact on your holiday décor.
