If you’re like me and spend a lot of time in the car or on the train every day, you may feel like you are wasting your time.  I used to download a lot of audio books in order to maximize my commute time, but I recently discovered podcasts. These series are made up of audio episodes that cover different topics, and they have now replaced radio shows for me! If you are new to podcasts, here are some recommendations.

Vogue Podcast: Andre Leon Talley

Definitely one of our favorites, the fashion empire’s podcast is stylish, trendy and entertaining. It is the great Andre Leon Talley, a legend in the fashion industry, who is behind this series of audio clips revealing new trends, industry gossip, and even what happens behind the scenes at Vogue’s offices. Grab your headphones fashionistas!

The Skinny Confidential: Lauryn Evarts and Michael Bosstick

Real-life couple, Lauryn and Michael host a podcast that focus on well-being, business strategy, and so much more. We love their humour and their ability to bring us into their real life – sometimes profound, sometimes ridiculous, but always entertaining!  We especially like learning more about the business world.

Breaking Beauty: Jill Dunn and Carlene Higgins

The duo behind this podcast are recognized beauty experts well-known in the media industry in Canada. The two passionate women share all their beauty knowledge in these episodes and focus mainly on interviews with influential people from the industry. Goop, Rodial, Glossier… they cover it all!

The Women’s Fitness Podcast: Kelly Bakewell and Iszi Lawrence

Women do not train like men  and we often do not share the same goals as them, so we need to get proper advice from the experts! This is what we find in this podcast filled with information related to women’s health and fitness training routines.

Girlboss Radio: Sophie Amoruso

Sophia Amoruso is back with an inspiring channel that focuses on successful women in the business world. True to herself, she approaches the subjects with humour and candor, offering life lessons and business advice as she interviews with women can help anyone at any stage of their career path.
