With its countless lakes, beautiful woods, and busy city streets, it’s tempting to think of Ontario as a region best experienced in the sun.  But Ontario after dark is another type of enchantment.  The province turns into a lively playground of lights, music, and one-of-a-kind events that make you want to stay up just a little longer.  There’s a lot of fun to be had after dark, whether you’re a night owl searching for adventure, a foodie desiring a late-night snack, or just someone who wants to view the stars away from the city lights.  Get ready to see a part of Ontario that you have never seen before.

Relax with the Arts

The cultural scene in Ontario doesn’t stop when the galleries close.  The province has a lively and varied nightlife that focuses on art and performance.  You may see a famous Broadway show at one of the four Mirvish theaters in Toronto, or you can go to The Rex Hotel Jazz and Blues Bar on Queen Street to hear some great jazz music in a small setting.

Try a Candlelight Concert for an unforgettable experience. These concerts include real string quartets playing classical and pop music under hundreds of candles in stunning locations around the province. A beautiful, surreal evening. Film fans must attend the October Toronto After Dark Film Festival. It presents new international horror, sci-fi, and thriller films. nightlife.

Fun and Games at Night

Sometimes you just want to hang out with pals and have fun. There are several places in Ontario where you can do precisely that, such old-fashioned arcades with pinball machines and classic video games, or places with bocce, shuffleboard, or pool. If you like games that test your mind and skills, you can also play darts, or poker at an Ontario online casino, where strategy and making choices are very important. Whether you prefer a night in or a day at home, there is a wide variety of entertainment options to suit any taste.

From Bars to Fancy Lounges

If you want to go out and have a fantastic drink with good company, Ontario’s bar culture has you covered.  Cities like Toronto, Ottawa, and Niagara Falls have a wide range of places to go out, from quaint, old-fashioned pubs to slick, modern lounges.

Rebel Entertainment Complex and other high-energy dance clubs are in Toronto’s Entertainment District, but there are also relaxing areas. The city’s famous Horseshoe Tavern hosts famous musicians and is still a prominent live music venue. Niagara Falls has plenty going on at night.

Club Se7en, for example, has many bars and a vast outside patio that make it a high-end destination to go.  There are limitless possibilities, whether you want to dance all night or want a quiet place to have a drink.

 Under the Stars: Outdoor Adventures

The magnificent outdoors isn’t only for the day.  In fact, some of the best things to do in Ontario happen at night.  Picture taking a walk through a forest lit by hundreds of torches or sledding to a spot where you can see the sky full of stars. There are organized night snowshoe walks at places like Scenic Caves near Collingwood in the winter.

The walks end with a walk across Southern Ontario’s biggest suspension bridge, which has great views of Georgian Bay. An ice path with fire pits and hot cider is lit up at the Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery in Bala so that skating there at night is truly magical. This is a less rugged option.  These outdoor trips provide a calm and stunning change from the usual.
