A New York Times and Canadian national bestseller, The Midnight Library<\/em> has sold over ten million copies worldwide and collected countless accolades. It\u2019s not a new release\u2014but it was new to me. As an avid reader, I love diving into the latest bestsellers, but like many book lovers, I also have a shelf full of titles waiting to be read. Whether this one is already sitting on yours or you\u2019re looking for the perfect gift for a fellow reader, I wanted to share my thoughts.<\/p>\n

I tend to love books that make me think, and The Midnight Library<\/em> does more than that; it makes you feel.<\/em> It lingers with you long after you\u2019ve turned the last page, surfacing again every time you talk about it. In fact, I was just recommending it to a friend today.<\/p>\n

Without giving too much away, this is a story about regret, invisibility, and the quiet ache of wondering what if. What if you could relive the moments you wish you\u2019d done differently? Each decision takes Nora down a new version of her life, one she thought she wanted, until she discovers that fulfillment doesn\u2019t come from perfection, but from acceptance.<\/p>\n

Matt Haig has a remarkable way with words. His storytelling is simple yet profound, blending the fantastical and the deeply human in a way that feels utterly believable. The pacing is perfect and it ends exactly when it should.<\/p>\n

If I were to revisit my list of top ten favourite books, The Midnight Library<\/em> would definitely earn a spot. It\u2019s a story that makes you reflect, breathe a little deeper, and maybe even appreciate the life you\u2019re already living. I highly recommend adding it to your book club list<\/a>\u2014or gifting it to a friend who hasn\u2019t read it yet.<\/p>\n
