Yesterday, Canadian athletic-wear giant, lululemon revealed its first-ever summer Athlete Kit for Team Canada ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Team Canada X lululemon<\/a>, a collaboration between the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC), is notable for it’s inclusivity taking inspiration and advice for the athletes of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games:<\/p>\n

\u201cFor Paris 2024, we had the opportunity to deepen our partnership with the Olympians and Paralympians who represent Canada on the global stage,\u201d said Calvin McDonald, CEO, lululemon. \u201cWe took an innovation-first approach to design a collection driven by athlete insights, so they can feel and perform their best in Paris. All of us at lululemon are honoured to support these athletes, both as individuals and a team, as they represent their country this summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Team Canada X lululemon athlete kits were a hit with the Olympians and Paralympians thanks to design highlights including adaptability, thermal comfort, fit and function and of course, the beautiful prints that show off national pride.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy biggest takeaway from this process was lululemon\u2019s commitment to working with Paralympians to make the pieces accessible and adaptable,\u201d said Zak Madell<\/a>, lululemon Ambassador and Team Canada Wheelchair Rugby Player.<\/p>\n

This response was echoed by by Karen O’Neill, CEO, Canadian Paralympic Committee .\u201cThis will be one of the most adaptable and inclusive kits Canada has ever worn at the Games. lululemon\u2019s dedication to detail and working in partnership with athletes will ensure all team members are both stylish and comfortable.”<\/p>\n
