The&nbsp; traditional <a href=\"https:\/\/crimereads.com\/spirits-scams-and-the-victorian-seance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Victorian s\u00e9ance<\/a> takes place at a real haunted mansion in the heart of downtown Toronto. You will be able to prowl the hallways of the mansion one last time before it is scheduled for demolition. Map out the meeting location ahead of time and be there fifteen minutes early<\/li>\n<li>Even if you are a skeptic, give it a chance and go in with an open mind. The more open-minded you are, the more that you will get out of the experience<\/li>\n<li>Participate and don\u2019t be afraid to speak up<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t come drunk &#8211; you may disrupt others who are trying to get the most out of The Isabella Street S\u00e9ance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"the-isabella-street-seance-the-details\">The Isabella Street S\u00e9ance &#8211; The Details:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Dates:<\/strong> September 29th \u2013 November 25th, 2023<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration:<\/strong>&nbsp;Approximately 2 hours<\/p>\n<p><strong>Group Size:<\/strong> Approximately 18 people<\/p>\n<p><strong>Price:<\/strong> $68.66 per person 18+ (Private group up to 10 ppl \u2013 save 20%)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> 640 Church Street (beside the A&amp;W)<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"the-review\">The Review<\/h2>\n<p>I&#8217;ve attended several of Jaymes White&#8217;s s\u00e9ances in the past. The one common element is that the way that they start out. A group of slightly nervous adults line up at a location in the GTA where we wait for someone from the team to walk us over the the s\u00e9ance location. We enter and the group will take a cursory look around the entrance. The slight tinge of fear is almost palpable as we try to sense if any evil spirits are in our midst, laughing lightly with every creak of the house.<\/p>\n<p>You are then walked upstairs to sign a waiver which seems slightly ominous, but it&#8217;s standard. We then wait for White to make his appearance. He sets the stage and gives us a brief history of the location before handing out obsidian crystals to block negative energy. Some of the more terrified guests look longingly at the bowl housing said crystals with a look on their face showing that they would like to take a handful versus one or two. That is where the similarities end.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Isabella Street S\u00e9ance felt more menacing than previous events. Maybe it was the house, maybe it was the storytelling, or maybe it was the group, but things that cannot be explained happened. No specifics, no spoilers, but there were screams and things did go bump in the night.<\/p>\n<p>What makes each s\u00e9ance different is the group of people there. They have the power to make or break the experience. White serves as your guide but what you put into the experience is what you will get out of it. The Isabella Street S\u00e9ance was the best yet.
