Many of us may not be lucky enough to stay in the luxurious Presidential Suite or the well-appointed Bi-Level suite, so we want to take you on a tour. We will also share some of the other amenities AND what we think is the highlight of the hotel.<\/p>\n<p>With 219 rooms, including 40 suites, a brand new restaurant and a facelift to their 17th floor bar, there is a lot to share. Renowned designer Alessandro Munge carefully curated an impressive collection of Canadian and indigenous art. It is 1,825 square feet, and comes with a large living area complete with a modern fireplace, working area and dining area. There is a pantry with a mini-bar and even a Nespresso machine in case you need a caffeine fix. It is appointed with double sinks, a huge walk-in double rain shower and a soaker tub that comes with a view. It just felt more homey. Maybe it was the staircase, or the more intimate living area or the beautiful pantry. Either way, we loved it. There are two bedrooms, so you can split the cost which is currently starting at $2,579 per night. The loft-style master bathroom was bright and beautiful and has two queen beds. The second bedroom had one.\u00a0 The biggest difference? With a menu from Executive Chef Antonio Soriano and casually elegant surroundings, you will love the ambience. The focus of the food is on local (where possible), fresh, flavourful ingredients that are in season. We&#8217;ll report back on the taste once we try it. The name pays homage to the many writers that called the hotel their home away from home over the years or who gathered in the former rooftop bar setting. The classic, old world feel of the former rooftop bar was kept. It is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail after dinner or for a nightcap after a long evening out.
