Let\u2019s get real, shall we? There are few things more traumatizing for a woman than swimwear shopping. It becomes even more challenging if you are a size 14 or above. There are fewer options and the suits either lack support or if the support is there, the swimsuit looks like it came from a time machine circa 1932. \u00a0Inclusive sizing is only available at \u201cplus-sized\u201d stores or separated either by floor or by section at most retailers. Joe Fresh<\/a> and Roxy Earle have once again teamed up<\/a> to create something fun, fashionable and yes, size inclusive in swimwear.<\/p>\n

\"Swimwear:<\/p>\n

The capsule collection will feature five pieces, including a one-piece swimsuit, two-piece bikini, tunic cover-up and sandals, available in sizes XS-3X. The limited-edition capsule collection will be available online and in select retail stores beginning May 13, 2021 and we are here for it! Earle, founder of Luxurious Roxy and the soon-to-be-launched Ana app, is a body positive activist and founder of the #MySizeRox movement.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know what it\u2019s like shopping for a bathing suit when you are over a size 10. It can be difficult, expensive and draining. You need support and want to feel fashionable but you always have to sacrifice one to have the other. That robs you of your self-confidence. I wanted to create something that a woman can feel confident and fabulous in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joe Fresh is offering the swimwear at the same price from size XS to 3X. This is something that is rare for fashion retailers. This was important to Earle too. \u201cJoe Fresh insisted on having the same price point for all sizing \u2013 that\u2019s another reason why I love working with them. I understand that sometimes more fabric comes with a higher price point, but the entire collection is priced the same regardless of the size. When brands charge a premium or merchandise pieces in a separate section, we strip women of their confidence and make them feel unworthy and like they don\u2019t belong.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earle stressed that she was involved in every part of the collaboration with Joe Fresh. She incorporated feedback from her dedicated #MySizeRox following into the designs. \u201cJoe Fresh was really open to this and really listened. I came into meetings with vision boards of what I wanted for the cut and pattern of the swimwear.\u201d Earle continues, \u201cThe swimsuits, from a technical stand point, offer the support that a woman needs through the fabric design and features like thicker straps. This prevents digging if you have a larger bust. They show off a woman\u2019s curves whether in the two piece or the one piece with a tie that emphasizes the waist. The pieces are cost-effective, on-trend and most importantly, a woman will feel incredible wearing them whether they are vacationing in the south of France or closer to home.\u201d<\/p>\n
