Apples, grapes and cranberries are also great options.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"sangria-ingredients\">Sangria Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<p>1\/4 cup (4 tbsp) Sugar<br \/>\n2 bottles Cabernet Sauvignon (could be substituted for other red wine of your choice)<br \/>\n1 cup (240 mL) \u00a0Orange Juice<br \/>\n1\/4 cup (60 mL) orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier or Triple Sec)<br \/>\n24 oz \u00a0(710 mL) Club Soda, chilled<br \/>\n2 Oranges Thinly Sliced<br \/>\n1 cup (200 g) fresh blackberries<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"directions\">Directions:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring sugar and 1 1\/4 cups (10 oz) water to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from heat, and let stand for 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Combine sugar mixture, red wine, orange juice, and liqueur in a large container or pitcher; cover and chill for 4 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in club soda, oranges, and blackberries. just before serving.<\/li>\n<li>Serve over ice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep checking back for more <a href=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/en\/cocktail-recipe-the-smashing-pumpkin-from-io-godfrey\/\">fall cocktail recipes<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>*Makes 12 cups (enough for a pitcher).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post-excerpt\">Sangria is not just a summer beverage.
