She has a passion for images that tell stories.\u00a0 Her work has been featured in publications like The New York Times and Esquire UK.\u00a0 For her particular project, she was asked to create a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cecile-gariepy.com\/under-the-same-moon#1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">colouring page<\/a> that is available on her website.\u00a0 You can download the page, channel your inner artist and pass the time while we are still physically distancing but socially connected.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"vancouver-british-columbia-tierney-milne\">Vancouver, British Columbia \u2013 Tierney Milne<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1598929\" src=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Tierney-800x800.jpg\" alt=\"Art: Tierney Milne\" width=\"601\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Tierney-800x800.jpg 800w, https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Tierney-80x80.jpg 80w, https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Tierney-320x320.jpg 320w, https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Tierney-560x560.jpg 560w, https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Tierney-90x90.jpg 90w, https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Tierney.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 601px) 100vw, 601px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tierney Milne is a Montreal-born designer and artist currently living in Vancouver. She studied psychology and illustration\/design and these pursuits inspired her artwork.\u00a0 Her art is unique and breaks down the complexities of our inner and outer landscapes in colourful ways.\u00a0 She not only enjoys creating artwork including murals and stop-motion animation projects, but she works as a commercial artist.<\/p>\n<p>Tierney painted a typographic mural on the exterior of Plenty on Robson inspired by the line from Haruki Murakami about coming together despite distance: \u201cWe&#8217;re both looking at the same moon, in the same world. We&#8217;re connected to reality by the same line.\u201d This temporary artwork features the words \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B_OTZROByJO\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WE ALL SEE THE SAME MOON<\/a>\u201d in bold, colourful, light-hearted beveled typography. The goal with this piece is to help inspire a sense of both local and broader connectedness while we\u2019re all apart in our respective homes.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"montreal-quebec-miss-cloudy\">Montreal, Quebec \u2013 Miss Cloudy<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1598931\" src=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Miss-Cloudy.jpg\" alt=\"Art: Miss Cloudy\" width=\"600\" height=\"433\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Miss-Cloudy.jpg 600w, https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Miss-Cloudy-320x231.jpg 320w, https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Miss-Cloudy-560x404.jpg 560w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Specializing in folding art and paper creations, Pauline Loctin AKA Miss Cloudy creates murals, hanging lights and even custom stage accessories and costumes. Originally from France, she moved to Montreal to begin a Masters in Musicology at Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al. She discovered paper and dove into perfecting tessellation (an arrangement of shapes closely fitted together) and origami architecture. She has worked with international brands and institutions including the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the , Four Seasons, Holt Renfrew and Air Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Miss Cloudy will lead an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/misscloudyart\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram Live<\/a> on May 28 demonstrating a \u2018Happy Mural\u2019.
