Get more dressed up for video meetings.\u00a0 If you take yourself seriously, then others will too.\u00a0 Many people workout at lunchtime; keep that up whether it is a video workout or at a gym when we are no longer self-isolating.\u00a0 Following a routine will help you stay motivated and on track.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Professional Tip \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>The reality now is that children or pets may cause distractions on video calls.\u00a0 If you have a partner that can help, ask them to look after the kids or Rover while you take your meeting.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t, use the mute button where possible and let the other attendees know that you may have an interruption or two.\u00a0 Everyone is in the same boat right now and will understand.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"be-reasonable-with-yourself\"><strong>Be Reasonable With Yourself<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Working from home doesn\u2019t mean working all day and all night.\u00a0 You still need to take breaks.\u00a0 Eat lunch, stay hydrated and walk around.\u00a0 You still need screen breaks.\u00a0 You may feel more isolated if you are used to working in an office environment, so \u201cschedule\u201d in time to connect with friends, co-workers and family during a designated break time or after \u201cwork\u201d.\u00a0 As tempting as it may be to do housework, do that during a designated break.\u00a0 Laundry is easy during the workday or a small clean up, but spring cleaning is not.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Professional Tip<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0Stay in touch with your co-workers if you come from a bricks and if you are working from home, you can start work as soon as you get out of bed.\u00a0 Take your commute time and spend it with your family or if you are alone, read, listen to music, or cook yourself breakfast.\u00a0 Keep your workday to your usual hours.\u00a0 Shutdown at the same time you normally would.\u00a0 Use that time for self-care or to catch up with family or friends.\u00a0 Working from
