{"id":1588513,"date":"2018-09-20T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-09-20T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/divine.ca\/?p=1588513"},"modified":"2020-03-28T23:52:51","modified_gmt":"2020-03-29T03:52:51","slug":"almond-butter-and-puffed-quinoa-squares-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/divine.ca\/en\/almond-butter-and-puffed-quinoa-squares-recipe\/","title":{"rendered":"Almond Butter and Puffed Quinoa Squares Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"pk-dropcap pk-dropcap-borders\">These easy and delicious quinoa squares are the perfect <a href=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/en\/recipe-delicious-prune-power-balls\/\">afternoon snack!<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"recipe-single-title\">\n<h3 id=\"ingredients\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"toggle\">\n<ul>\n<li>3\/4 cup almond butter<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tablespoon pure vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup dates, pits removed<\/li>\n<li>4 cups puffed quinoa cereal<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons slivered almonds<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"recipe-single-title\">\n<h3 id=\"directions\"><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"toggle\">\n<ol>\n<li>Heat the almond butter and vanilla extract in a medium saucepan over medium heat to slowly melt the almond butter.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, in a food processor or blender, pulse the dates with 1\/4 cup water until they form a syrup.\u00a0 Add this mixture to the saucepan and stir to combine.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, add the puffed quinoa cereal and the almond butter mixture and stir to combine. Stir in the slivered almonds, chocolate chips and coconut if using.<\/li>\n<li>Line an 8&#215;8 baking pan with parchment paper.
