A great discovery for all of the Chardonnay fanatics out there. Its oaked, yet fruity\u00a0notes\u00a0lend complexity to the wine.\u00a0 It is the\u00a0perfect wine\u00a0for an aperitif, or even with dessert!<\/p>\n

Drink it with:<\/em> black cod or an asian\u00a0dish.<\/p>\n

Ch\u00e2teau Proy-Goulard, Champagne \u2013 $48.25 at Vertigo Wines<\/h3>\n

If you like champagne and you are looking for something different, I recently fell\u00a0for\u00a0this bubbly.\u00a0 It has light, refined taste. Its price is also very pleasing for champagne, isn’t it?<\/p>\n

Drink it with:<\/em> mushroom pasta or risotto.<\/p>\n

This dry and intense wine is one of my favorites \u2013 I have a\u00a0soft spot\u00a0for Chardonnay!\u00a0It has a sophisticated taste that you will love.<\/p>\n

Drink it with: <\/em>a cheese\u00a0platter.<\/p>\n

Tom Gore, Cabernet Sauvignon – $19.60 at LCBO, SAQ and Wine Stores<\/h3>\n

Cabernet Sauvignon lovers will be in awe of this complex and medium-bodied\u00a0red wine, ideal for\u00a0meat or other hearty\u00a0dishes.<\/p>\n

Drink it with: <\/em> a filet mignon.<\/p>\n

A red wine with fruity, green notes that is quite light and easy to drink. We also like the idea of aging it for a few years before drinking it.\u00a0 It’s\u00a0a great gift idea!<\/p>\n

Drink it with:<\/em>\u00a0pizza (yes!)<\/p>\n

Nobilo, Sauvignon Blanc \u2013 $16.60 at LCBO, SAQ and Wine Stores<\/h3>\n

A simple and fruity white wine, ideal to keep in the fridge\u00a0for those hot summer days!<\/p>\n

Drink it with:<\/em> Lobster! The season is approaching, after all.<\/p>\n

Rivarose Brut, Sparkling Ros\u00e9 \u2013 $18.95 at LCBO, SAQ and Wine Stores<\/h3>\n

One of the first sparkling ros\u00e9 wines from southern Provence, its taste is intense and slightly fruity. A divine bubbly!<\/p>\n

Drink it with:<\/em> a fresh salad.<\/p>\n
