Add a watermelon wedge for a festive garnish and serve this Paloma\u00a0 at your next fiesta!<\/p>\n<p class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">Makes 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/en\/the-appleton-estate-old-fashioned-recipe-two-ways\/\">cocktails<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ingredients\" class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">Kosher salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1 tablespoon (15 mL) lime juice<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">3 oz (90 mL) silver tequila<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1\/4 cup (60 mL) grapefruit juice<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1\/2 cup (125 mL) cubed watermelon<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1 cup (250 mL) watermelon juice, frozen in ice cube tray (optional)<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">2 teaspoons (10 mL) agave nectar<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">Ice cubes<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">club soda<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">mint or basil for garnish<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">watermelon wedge for garnish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"instructions\" class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1. Pour a generous amount of salt on a small plate. Line the rims of two glasses with lime juice and gently dip the rims into the salt. Combine the silver tequila, grapefruit juice, watermelon, and agave in a cocktail shaker. Use a muddler to mash the watermelon with the rest of the ingredients. Add ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">2. Carefully add ice cubes to your prepared glasses and, using a strainer, pour the tequila mixture over the ice.
