This dish is both sweet and savory and can be served for breakfast, lunch or dinner!<\/p>\n<p>Serves 4<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ingredients\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"for-the-citrus-tahini-dressing\" class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\"><em>For the Citrus Tahini Dressing<\/em><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">3 tablespoons (45 mL) tahini<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1\/3 cup (85 mL) fresh squeezed orange juice<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1\/4 cup (60 mL) rice vinegar<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1 teaspoon (5 mL) soy sauce<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1 teaspoon (5 mL) freshly grated ginger<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1\/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"for-the-buddha-bowl\" class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\"><em>For the Buddha Bowl<\/em><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">2 cups (500 mL) seedless watermelon, cubed<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">4 mini cucumbers, thinly sliced<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1 cup (250 mL) sweet cherries, pitted and halved<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">2 avocados, sliced<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">2 cups (500mL) cooked black rice<\/li>\n<li class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1 cup (250 mL) sliced, toasted almonds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"instructions\" class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">Instructions<\/h2>\n<p class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">1.Combine all the dressing ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine. If the dressing seems thick, add a bit more orange juice or water until you reach the desired consistency.<\/p>\n<p class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\">2.Arrange the Buddha Bowls by placing evenly dividing the watermelon, cucumbers, cherries, avocados, and rice between four bowls. Sprinkle with the toasted almonds and drizzle with the dressing.
