{"id":1588110,"date":"2018-02-08T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-02-08T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/divine.ca\/?p=1588110"},"modified":"2020-09-11T15:33:36","modified_gmt":"2020-09-11T19:33:36","slug":"recipe-warm-spicy-beer-cheese-dip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/divine.ca\/en\/recipe-warm-spicy-beer-cheese-dip\/","title":{"rendered":"Recipe: Warm Spicy Beer &#038; Cheese Dip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"pk-dropcap pk-dropcap-borders\">I don\u2019t know if two things could go better together but all hail the Warm Spicy Beer and Cheese <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodhousekeeping.com\/food-recipes\/party-ideas\/g4967\/easy-dip-recipes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dip<\/a>.\u00a0 This is a delicious dip to accompany your <a href=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/en\/super-bowl-sunday-recipes-korean-fried-popcorn-turkey\/\">Superbowl<\/a> feast or party.\u00a0 It can be made in no time and is great for dipping with vegetables or pretzels.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ingredients\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd cup of dark beer (preferably a stout)<\/li>\n<li>8 oz cream cheese<\/li>\n<li>1 cup shredded cheddar cheese<\/li>\n<li>1 cup shredded pepper or Monterey jack cheese<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd jalapeno, seeded and diced (Use \u00bc less if too spicy)<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp of chili powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp cayenne pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp of garlic powder<\/li>\n<li>Salt and Pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>Garnish: chopped green onions or parsley.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"directions\"><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>In a large sauce pan combine beer, cheeses, chili powder, cayenne pepper and garlic powder and keep stirring on Medium heat until all cheese are smooth. Usually 5-7 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in diced jalapenos and cook for another 4 minutes. Keep stirring as to not burn the cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from heat and pour into serving dish.
