Try this almond crusted pumpkin cheese pie recipe &#8211; it&#8217;s a delicious take on cheese cake.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a delicious <a href=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/en\/recipe-apple-cinnamon-oatmeal-cookies\/\">fall recipe<\/a>.<strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<h3 id=\"ingredients\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div class=\"field-item even\">1 cup whole natural almonds<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-item odd\">2 Tbs. sugar<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-item even\">1 cup gingersnap crumbs (approximately 20 gingersnaps)<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-item odd\">5 Tbs. butter, melted<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-item even\">1 lb. fresh deli cream cheese<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-item odd\">2\/3 cup brown sugar, packed<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-item even\">1 tsp. grated orange peel<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-item odd\">1\/2 cup sour cream<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-item even\">3 eggs<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-item odd\">1\u00a01\/2 cups canned pumpkin<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-item even\">1\u00a01\/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice<\/div>\n<div class=\"field-item odd\">Sweetened whipped cream<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-recipe-preparation field-type-text-long field-label-above\">\n<h3 id=\"preparation\" class=\"field-label\"><strong>Preparation:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F.<\/li>\n<li>Spread almonds in a single layer on cookie sheet and toast 12 to 15 minutes in preheating oven until lightly browned. Cool; chop coarsely.<\/li>\n<li>Place a generous half cup of almonds in food processor bowl with sugar.\u00a0Use metal blade and process until very finely chopped.<\/li>\n<li>Pour into a large bowl; add gingersnap crumbs and mix.\u00a0Pour in the butter and stir well to combine.<\/li>\n<li>Press into bottom and side of a 10-inch pie plate to form a crust.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 10 minutes; set aside to cool.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and brown sugar with orange peel until well blended. Beat in sour cream and the eggs, one at a time, until mixture is light and fluffy.\u00a0Beat in pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice until well blended.<\/li>\n<li>Place pie shell on a cookie sheet; pour pumpkin cheese mixture into crust.<\/li>\n<li>Bake in the middle of the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until filling is set.<\/li>\n<li>Let cool on a rack.
