{"id":1578624,"date":"2020-02-02T11:14:40","date_gmt":"2020-02-02T16:14:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/divine.ca\/?p=1578624"},"modified":"2020-04-09T14:33:18","modified_gmt":"2020-04-09T18:33:18","slug":"pull-apart-cheeseburger-sliders-with-caramelized-onions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/divine.ca\/en\/pull-apart-cheeseburger-sliders-with-caramelized-onions\/","title":{"rendered":"Pull-Apart Cheeseburger Sliders With Caramelized Onions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"pk-dropcap pk-dropcap-borders\">If sliders are you go-to for game day or summer entertaining, you will love <a href=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/en\/super-bowl-sunday-recipes-buffalo-turkey-wings\/\">this recipe<\/a>.\u00a0 These little burgers have a little kick thanks to hot sauce.\u00a0 They are easy to prepare same day.\u00a0 To make a vegetarian version, use vegetarian or vegan ground round, following the instructions on the package.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prep Time: <\/strong>15 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook Time:<\/strong> 20 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 6<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ingredients\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"recipe-about-list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">1 1\/4 lbs (625 g) ground beef, (80\/20)<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">1 tbsp (15 ml) salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">1 tsp (5 ml)\u00a0Garlic Powder<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">1 tsp (5 ml)\u00a0Organic Smoked Paprika<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">3 tbsps (45 ml) canola oil<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">1 1\/2 cups sliced Spanish onions<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">2 tbsps (30 ml) water<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">2 tbsps (30 ml)\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.helloflavour.ca\/en-ca\/our-brands\/franks-redhot\/products\/hot-sauce\/franks-redhot-original-cayenne-pepper-sauce\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Frank&#8217;s RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Hot Sauce<\/a><\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">1\/2 pkg fluffy pull-apart dinner rolls, (6 rolls)<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">6 slices Cheddar cheese<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">12 slices Roma tomatoes<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">18 sweet pickle chips<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-about-item\">3 tbsps (45 ml) honey mustard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"preparation\">Preparation<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F (190\u00b0C). Place meat in large bowl. Add salt, garlic powder and smoked paprika. Mix well and shape into 6 slider patties. Cover and refrigerate until ready to cook.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in stainless steel pan on medium-high heat. Add onions; toss to separate. Cook without moving the pan 5 minutes. Stir and saut\u00e9 5 minutes longer. Stir in water; reduce heat to low. Add RedHot Sauce and simmer 8 minutes. Remove from heat. Set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Heat a lightly greased cast iron skillet on high heat. Place slider patties in skillet. Cook 3 minutes per side. Keep warm.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, remove 6 rolls from package but do not separate. Cut rolls in half horizontally. Place both top and bottom half, cut side up, on shallow baking pan. Layer with cheese. Bake 5 minutes or just until cheese is melted.<\/li>\n<li>Place one burger on each bottom bun. Top with tomatoes, pickles, RedHot Onions and honey mustard. Replace cheesy top buns.
