Try using Slovenia\u2019s national beverage \u2013 schnapps, which can be distilled from a variety of fruits, juniper or honey.<\/p>\n<p>Combining holiday spices like clove, nutmeg and cinnamon with Hungary Urda cream cheese creates a delightful accompanying spread.\u00a0 The silky texture is a common characteristics of Hungarian Urda cream cheese. The cheese is made from the whey of sheep, goat or cow&#8217;s milk. It is similar to ricotta in how it is produced.\u00a0 A touch of Swedish lingonberry jam (plentiful in the forested areas of the Swedish inland) adds a sweet and tart composition to the dessert. The unique taste of European spirits, cheese and preserves in this dessert that will delight all of your guests.\u00a0 This light-tasting <a href=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/en\/bread-and-salt-bakehouse-damson-plum-jam-star\/\">dessert<\/a> will be a hit at your holiday party.\u00a0 It takes less than 20 minutes to prepare.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Servings: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation time: 15 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking time: 4 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 half\u00a0Greek\u00a0peaches in syrup, drained<\/p>\n<p>125 ml (1\/2 cup) Danish butter biscuits, crushed<\/p>\n<p>250 ml (1 cup) Hungarian Urda cream cheese<\/p>\n<p>30 ml (2 tbsp) butter<\/p>\n<p>60 ml (1\/4 tsp) cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>1 ml (1\/4 tsp) powdered ginger<\/p>\n<p>1 ml (1\/4 tsp) ground nutmeg<\/p>\n<p>1 pinch of clove<\/p>\n<p>1 pinch of salt<\/p>\n<p>125 ml (1\/2 cup) Slovenian schnapps<\/p>\n<p>120 ml (8 tbsp) Swedish\u00a0lingonberry jam<\/p>\n<p>4 meringues<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oil in fryer to 180 \u00b0 C (350 \u00b0 F).<\/li>\n<li>Drain the peaches from their syrup.<\/li>\n<li>In a hot skillet, saut\u00e9 the peaches in butter, 2 minutes on each side.<\/li>\n<li>Add the schnapps and flamb\u00e9.
