The addition of brown rice adds both protein and fibre for a substantial and hearty dinner for your hungry crew.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1577236\" src=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Egg-rolls-d\u00e9construit-au-riz-brun-1-800x1000.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"566\" height=\"708\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Egg-rolls-d\u00e9construit-au-riz-brun-1-800x1000.jpg 800w, https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Egg-rolls-d\u00e9construit-au-riz-brun-1-320x400.jpg 320w, https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Egg-rolls-d\u00e9construit-au-riz-brun-1-560x700.jpg 560w, https:\/\/divine.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Egg-rolls-d\u00e9construit-au-riz-brun-1.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 566px) 100vw, 566px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 id=\"ingredients\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>1 tbsp (15 mL) canola oil<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd lb (250 g) ground turkey<\/p>\n<p>1 tbsp (15 mL) each minced garlic and ginger<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp (2 mL) each salt and pepper<\/p>\n<p>1 bag (340 g) shredded cabbage or mixed vegetable slaw blend (about 6 cups\/1.6 L)<\/p>\n<p>3 cups (750 mL) cooked U.S. long grain brown rice (about 1 cup\/250 mL dry)<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp (30 mL) soy sauce<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp (30 mL) rice wine, sherry or water<\/p>\n<p>1 cup (250 mL) bean sprouts (optional)<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd cup (125 mL) chopped green onions (plus extra for garnish)<\/p>\n<p>Crispy wonton strips (optional)<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"directions\"><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Heat oil in a wok or large deep skillet set over medium-high heat. Crumble in turkey, breaking up meat with a wooden spoon or paddle. Add garlic, ginger, salt and pepper; stir fry until turkey is lightly browned.<\/p>\n<p>Stir in slaw blend; cook, stirring often, for 5 to 7 minutes or until wilted. Stir in cooked rice, soy sauce and rice wine until well combined. Add sprouts and green onions; toss just until heated through. Serve topped with additional green onions and wonton strips (if using).<\/p>\n<p>Makes 4 to 6 servings.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"tips\">Tips:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You can buy crispy wonton strips as a salad topper.
