Priya Chopra is one of Canada’s best-known communications entrepreneurs. She is the head of the public relations agency, 1Milk 2Sugars<\/a>, which represents big names such as Reitmans, Nivea and ENDY.\u00a0 She juggles her busy career with her family life (she is also the mother of three children). Are you a early bird or a night owl?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cEarly to bed, early to rise, makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise\u201d \u2013 is an expression my parents used to tell me, and it stuck.\u00a0 Definitely an early bird.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite item of clothing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not clothing, but jewellery is what I would say \u2013 I am a total accessories girl.\u00a0 I have a mini \u2018closet\u2019 for all my jewellery.<\/p>\n

Where do you go for drinks?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your favorite places to shop?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Because we rep a number of fashion brands, I am lucky enough to exposed to some great lines. Launching this Fall is a gorgeous technical urban apparel outlet, called Vallier<\/a> with staple pieces that just work, whatever the weather or occasion.\u00a0 Another brand that is my ultimate go-to for comfort and style is Smash + Tess, known for their rompers: https:\/\/smashtess.ca\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Who is your female role model?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My current girl crush is on Robin Arzon.\u00a0 She was a lawyer, turned marathon runner, and she is the VP at Peloton in NYC.\u00a0 Her hard hitting, motivating, no BS attitude is everything I stand for, and I just adore her smile and contagious spirit.<\/p>\n

Flats or heels?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Flats over heels always! IMO, a pair of white Converse goes with everything.<\/p>\n

What makes you smile?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My 3 bambinos, Jaya, Kian and Loic.<\/p>\n

Your favorite restaurant?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Agrikol is great, serving amazing Haitian food with a very authentic Haitian island vibe.<\/p>\n

In your opinion, what is the hardest thing women have to face in 2019?<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a mother, the rise of invasive beauty techniques really concerns me. I think social media has a lot to do with this.<\/p>\n

What is the last book you’ve read?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Given my crazy schedule, I\u2019m more of a podcast listener over book reader.\u00a0Every time I hop in my car, I am all ears for Oprah\u2019s Super Soul Conversations.<\/p>\n

Where would you like to go on your next trip?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Amalfi Coast, Italy \u2013 forever my number one spot.<\/p>\n

Ask and you shall receive \u2013 a classic and what I tell my team all the time.<\/p>\n

What is a fact\u00a0about you that would surprise others?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I started my PR agency after only ever working in PR for 6 months. Talk about learning on the job!<\/p>\n

What changes concerning women would you like to see in 2019?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Equal pay for equal work.\u00a0 And more women launching and leading their own business.<\/p>\n

What\u00a0is something you’d like to do more often?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Travel to visit the many friends I have living all over the world.<\/p>\n

What advice would you like to give to today’s women?<\/strong><\/p>\n
